WHY AT&T
KEEPS
CALLING US
Our partnership with AT&T has lasted longer
than many marriages. More than 20 years
of forthright communication, nimble
turnaround and innovative solutions have
kept this relationship strong.Moreover,
we’re always looking for ways to stay one
step ahead of the technology and improve
the in-store customer experience. We even
have a full-size mock store, Impact Atlanta,
near AT&T headquarters, where we test new
ideas, turn design concepts into operational
reality, and occasionally have a little party.
So what have we done for AT&T lately?

WE STARED INTO SPACE…

AND SAW OPPORTUNITY

Retail space is precious…particularly when you have a lot of accessories to sell. So we went to AT&T and suggested they convert messaging space into a dynamic merchandising system. We designed and engineered a flexible, easily installable system of shelves, peg hooks and other components that would work in all their stores, so they could showcase all their accessories, right where it matters most, at the cash wrap.
Impact: The newly-optimized space significantly helped increase accessory-related sales.
DOUBLED LINEAR SPACE…
TRIPLED
CUSTOMER
INTEREST

How do you get customers to linger at a display? Give them lots of fun stuff to play with. So we transformed a single shelf
display into a two-tiered interactive
product station. This “double decker” system also incorporated a universal platform that allowed AT&T’s new device stem, as well as any ancillary products, to be featured in a uniform manner. Add to that a quick, but secure, “connect/disconnect” mechanism, making it a snap to change the planogram.
Impact: AT&T could feature twice the merchandise, with a minimum of hassle.
WE PUT
A FRESH
FACE
ON NARS

DELICATE LACE THAT BELIES ITS STRENGTH…
When NARS needed a countertop tester for their holiday collection, they turned to us for inspiration. We wanted to incorporate their signature lace design into an eye-catching display. But it also had to be sturdy enough to hold up to weeks of customer interaction. This concept pushed the limits of current manufacturing techniques. We didn’t let that stop us. Utilizing laser jet technology and an innovative bent steel technique, we were able to create a sturdy display without losing the delicacy of the design. We then added “floating” acrylic shelves to showcase the products, thereby creating a captivating presence in a highly competitive environment.
Impact: The display stood up to heavy retail
use… and stood out enough to win the
prestigious Shop! OMA (Outstanding
Merchandising Achievement) award.

MASCARA
THAT
DEFIES
GRAVITY…

The introduction of a new product always demands innovative merchandising. That’s why when NARS asked us to create a display that would showcase its new mascara in a memorable way, we engineered a whole new kind of fixture. First, we designed and crafted a sturdy acrylic and steel tower that would contain the factices. Then using mirrors and pure ingenuity, we were able to create the illusion of floating product, literally giving the customer the sensation of a mascara so light and easy to wear, it practically defies gravity.
Impact: Sales of their new mascara hit the
roof—or should we say floated?

COLORS THAT CHANGE WITH THE SEASON…
Make-up customers are fickle…always looking to try something new. Shiseido needed a countertop display that could capitalize on this by incorporating changeable graphics with an updateable product layout. Our solution: a removable mirrored base that could feature different products during different seasons, and graphics that could easily be changed by store personnel. Branding, however, always remains the same permanently hot-stamped and screened on the display.
Impact: A cost-effective solution for a
high-end brand, insuring it never goes out
of style.
